These cute little alabaster pots are hand-crafted in small batches by yours truly. Alabaster is a fascinating stone as it just one the several forms of the mineral gypsum and has been used since the time of Ancient Egypt. In fact, thousands of artifacts have been discovered throughout Egypt and the historical region of Mesopotamia. One of the most well known alabaster sculptures found in this region is the Memphite Sphinx.
This crumbly stone can be carved into sculptures or pulverized into a fine powder, mixed with water and used to cast items. We casted these wonderful 2-inch pots and let them cure in the Southern California sun.
We offer these pots in three different colors: Cream, Charcoal, and Sage
*There may be some natural slight variations in color and pot shape*
Please note that these pots do not have a drainage holes so if you intend to use this pot for plants that require soil, we strongly encourage you to drill a hole into the bottom.
