Regular price $6.00

Tillandsia magnusiana is so soft! This fuzzy leafed plant is native to southern and western Mexico (Jalisco, Veracruz, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Chiapas), El Salvador, Nicaragua and Honduras. In habit they most often can be found clinging in clumps on trees and rock faces but they also have a tendency to grow on telephone lines! T. magnusiana is a slow grower but will reach the size of a baseball. Upon maturity the center leaves will blush pink and it will produce red flower stalk from which vibrant violet flowers arise

Tillandsia magnusiana enjoys bright indirect light. This species of Tillandsia does not like to be submerged in water as it is prone to rot. We recommend that this species be water with heavy mistings with purified water 2-3 times per week or more often if the air in your home is very dry.

Fertilizing is not necessary; however, it encourages faster growth, off-setting, blushing, and blooming! To fertilize, we recommend misting your specimen with a foliar fertilizer such as our Foliar Feed at least once a month.

Your specimen will be 4+ inches in width.
